Partly: the LUCID number is yours to create, the rest can be handed over. Registration in LUCID is a strictly personal duty (§ 5(1) and (2) VerpackDG): you create your entry yourself, free, at verpackungsregister.org, and LUCID gives you your registration number. A company without a German establishment first signs a written mandate in German with its authorised representative, then names it in that entry. From there the representative takes over: it concludes the dual-system licence for your packaging in its own name (§ 5(3)), files the data reports in LUCID and keeps the licence in step with your volumes each year. With us that is €149 a year, no setup fee; we confirm the appointment in LUCID the same day once you have named us and signed the mandate, and the dual system's fees are passed on at cost.
