# Published prices for a German packaging representative > Published prices for German EPR representation: annual fee, setup fee and first-year total per provider, each linked to the provider's own page. CC BY 4.0. Open data · CC BY 4.0 · Last updated: 2026-09-23 · https://eprgermanyrep.com/data/provider-prices/ --- | Provider | Legal entity | Per year | Setup | Year 1 | Note | |---|---|---|---|---|---| | EPR Germany Rep | EPRGermanyRep GbR | €149 | €0 | €149 | Our packaging representation fee is €149/year with no setup fee. Scheme fees are separate and passed through at cost. The contracting entity is EPRGermanyRep GbR, Im Mediapark 5, 50670 Köln — an established company, trade registered with the Gewerbemeldestelle Köln on 1 October 2026, not a company in formation. | | rep-germany.de | R&R Vivendi GbR | €170 | €0 | €170 | Representation only. Dual-system licensing is sold on top at €35/year basic plus per kg — their own worked example is 20 kg of paper = €170 + €35 + €4.04 = €209.04. If you already license through a dual system, the €170 stands alone. | | verpackgo.com | Green Dot Rep GmbH | ≥ €189 | €89 | ≥ €278 | Published as "from €189" per country, plus a one-off €89 onboarding fee. | | ecosistant.eu | ecosistant GmbH | €250 | — | — | Up to 1 tonne. B2B transport packaging is explicitly excluded from this base fee. | | lizenzero.com | Interzero | €299 | — | — | Per country, plus volume-based system fees. | | epr.eldris.ai | EldrisAi OÜ (EE) | €280 | — | — | German packaging package, not representation alone: the current pricing page lists €280/year and includes up to 100 kg paper packaging or €30 of recycling fees. Older provider guides show different first-year pricing. Setup is unresolved; confirm the current quote and German contracting entity. | | maincompliance.de | MainCompliance UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G. | — | — | — | No price published — quote only. | | ecocomply.ai | EcoComply GmbH | €1,000 | €0 | €1,000 | Sold as a bundle at €1,000 per country per year: registration, reporting, representation and a packaging Declaration of Conformity, no setup fee. Scheme fees are billed at cost on top. | | take-e-way.de | take-e-way GmbH | — | — | — | No price published — quote only. | | get-e-right.de | get-e-right | — | — | — | No price published — quote only. | Scheme fees and included allowances vary by offer. Eldris publishes a limited recycling allowance within its German packaging package; other rows generally show separate scheme fees. Read the provider’s scope and request a complete quote. Free to use and cite under CC BY 4.0. If you quote a figure, please link the provider's page as well as this one. ## What each provider's fee actually includes Scope must be checked separately for B2B transport packaging, completeness declarations and documentation. “Not stated” is not an exclusion. Ecosistant explicitly excludes B2B transport packaging from its base fee. | Included in the annual fee | EPR Germany Rep | rep-germany.de | ecosistant.eu | verpackgo.com | |---|---|---|---|---| | Named as representative in LUCID | yes | yes | yes | yes | | Written German mandate | yes | yes | yes | yes | | Dual-system participation | at cost, 0% markup | €35/yr basic + per kg | yes | yes | | Volume reports (Mengenmeldungen) | yes | yes | yes | yes | | Deadline monitoring and reminders | yes | yes | not stated | not stated | | Record storage, produced on request | yes | yes | not stated | not stated | | Answering official enquiries | yes | yes | yes | not stated | | Vollständigkeitserklärung | yes | not stated | yes | not stated | | Household / e-commerce packaging | yes | yes | up to 1 tonne | yes | | B2B transport packaging | scope: what falls under § 39 | not stated | excluded — extra fees | not stated | | Prefilled LUCID registration guide | yes | yes | not stated | not stated | | Marketplace support | yes | not stated | not stated | not stated | Read alongside the prices above: a cheaper headline fee that leaves the Vollständigkeitserklärung outside it is not necessarily cheaper. ## How to read this table Six things that define the numbers below. Every figure carries a link to the page it was read from. - **What each row is** One company with no German establishment that needs a representative for packaging, for one year. Not a quote we were given — the price the provider publishes on its own website. - **Scheme fees and allowances** Scheme fees and included allowances vary by offer. Eldris publishes a limited recycling allowance within its German packaging package; other rows generally show separate scheme fees. Read the provider’s scope and request a complete quote. - **Why our row is €149** The work is the written German mandate, being named in LUCID, the dual-system participation contract concluded in our name, and the volume reports. It is a fixed annual job, so it carries a fixed annual price and no setup fee. - **“Not published” means not published** Four providers in the table sell this service and publish no price at all. We write “—” and say so, rather than repeating a figure someone quoted in an email. - **Year 1 is annual plus setup** Year 1 is annual plus setup only when both are known. An undisclosed setup fee stays unknown; a published “from” price remains a minimum. Scheme fees are separate. - **All figures are euro** Every provider in this table publishes in euro, so nothing here is converted and no exchange rate is involved. ## Key findings What the tables above show, stated so they can be quoted. Each one is sourced below. - **A 2× spread for the same statutory act.** Published annual fees for German packaging representation run from €149 to €299 — for the identical duty under VerpackDG § 5(2). The spread is not 30× as in France, because the German market is small and young; three of the nine other providers publish no price. - **Published fees have different scopes.** Scheme fees and included allowances vary by offer. Eldris publishes a limited recycling allowance within its German packaging package; other rows generally show separate scheme fees. Read the provider’s scope and request a complete quote. - **B2B transport packaging is where the real divergence sits.** Scope must be checked separately for B2B transport packaging, completeness declarations and documentation. “Not stated” is not an exclusion. Ecosistant explicitly excludes B2B transport packaging from its base fee. - **Three of the nine will not show a price.** take-e-way.de, get-e-right.de and maincompliance.de all offer the service and all require a conversation to learn what it costs. ## How this data is built Small, checkable and honest about its limits — including how often it is refreshed. - Every price is read from the provider's own public pricing page and linked from the row it appears in. Nothing here comes from a sales email, a directory or a third-party comparison. - Where a provider publishes no price we record “—”. We never estimate, and we never publish a figure a provider has not put in public itself. - Unknown setup fees are never treated as zero. First-year figures exclude scheme fees; minimum prices retain their qualification. - The “what's included” table records each provider's own description of its service. “Not stated” means the provider's public page does not say either way — it is not a claim that the provider excludes it. - Statutory facts — dates, duties, fines — are quoted from gesetze-im-internet.de or from ZSVR, never paraphrased from a competitor's blog. - Scheduled source retrieval produces a review queue. Only reviewed observations enter the public log. Failed retrievals do not confirm an unchanged price. ## The law, word for word The obligation this table is about, quoted from the official text at gesetze-im-internet.de. Open the link and the wording matches, word for word. > „(2) Hersteller nach Artikel 45 Absatz 3 Satz 1 der Verordnung (EU) 2025/40, die keine Niederlassung im Bundesgebiet haben, haben ihren Bevollmächtigten für die erweiterte Herstellerverantwortung vor dem erstmaligen Bereitstellen einer Verpackung oder eines verpackten Produkts im Bundesgebiet … mit der Wahrnehmung ihrer Verpflichtungen nach diesem Gesetz, mit Ausnahme der Registrierung nach § 6 zu beauftragen.“ > > *English translation (ours):* “(2) Producers under Article 45(3), first sentence, of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 that have no establishment in Germany must, before first making available packaging or a packaged product in Germany …, mandate their authorised representative for extended producer responsibility to perform their obligations under this Act, with the exception of registration under § 6.” > „(3) Der Bevollmächtigte für die erweiterte Herstellerverantwortung gilt im Hinblick auf die wahrzunehmenden Verpflichtungen als Hersteller im Sinne dieses Gesetzes. Die Aufgabenerfüllung durch den Bevollmächtigten für die erweiterte Herstellerverantwortung erfolgt im eigenen Namen.“ > > *English translation (ours):* “(3) With regard to the obligations it performs, the authorised representative for extended producer responsibility is deemed to be the producer within the meaning of this Act. The authorised representative for extended producer responsibility performs these tasks in its own name.” > „(4) Jeder Hersteller darf nur einen Bevollmächtigten für die erweiterte Herstellerverantwortung beauftragen. Die Beauftragung … hat bei der erstmaligen Bereitstellung von Verpackungen oder verpackten Produkten im Bundesgebiet durch eine schriftliche Vollmacht in deutscher Sprache zu erfolgen.“ > > *English translation (ours):* “(4) Each producer may mandate only one authorised representative for extended producer responsibility. The mandate … must be given, when packaging or packaged products are first made available in Germany, by a written power of attorney in the German language.” — VerpackDG § 5(2)–(4), In English: a producer with no establishment in Germany must appoint a representative for extended producer responsibility before it first makes packaging available, and mandate that representative with its obligations under the Act — every one of them except the registration in § 6. For the obligations taken on, the representative counts as the producer in law and acts in its own name. A producer may appoint only one, and the appointment must be a written power of attorney in German. ## Every claim, its source The strong claims on this page, each tied to the text it comes from. Open the link — the wording matches. | Claim | Source | |---|---| | A producer with no German establishment must appoint a representative, and may appoint only one, by written power of attorney in German. | VerpackDG § 5: | | The representative counts as the producer for the delegated obligations and acts in its own name — which is why the dual-system contract is in our name. | VerpackDG § 5: | | Registration in LUCID cannot be delegated: § 5(2) carves out § 6 and leaves it with the producer. | VerpackDG § 5: | | Producers already registered in LUCID must file the change naming their representative by 12 November 2026. | VerpackDG § 68: | | ZSVR states that no exemption from the representative duty is possible. | ZSVR — Bevollmächtigung: | | rep-germany.de charges €170 a year, with dual-system licensing sold on top at €35 a year plus per kilogram. | rep-germany.de: | | verpackgo.com publishes “from €189” per country plus a one-off €89 onboarding fee. | verpackgo.com (Green Dot Rep): | | ecosistant.eu publishes €250 for up to 1 tonne and excludes B2B transport packaging from that fee. | ecosistant.eu: | | lizenzero.com publishes €299 per country, with volume-based system fees on top. | lizenzero.com (Interzero): | | ecocomply.ai publishes €1,000 per country per year for registration, reporting, representation and a Declaration of Conformity. | ecocomply.ai: | ## Source register - rep-germany.de: — read 2026-09-23 - verpackgo.com (Green Dot Rep): — read 2026-09-23 - ecosistant.eu: — read 2026-09-23 - lizenzero.com (Interzero): — read 2026-09-23 - epr.eldris.ai: — read 2026-09-23 - maincompliance.de: — read 2026-09-23 - ecocomply.ai: — read 2026-09-23 - take-e-way.de: — read 2026-09-23 - get-e-right.de: — read 2026-09-23 - VerpackDG § 5: — read 2026-09-23 - VerpackDG § 68: — read 2026-09-23 - ZSVR — Bevollmächtigung: — read 2026-09-23 ## What we watch next - **Dual-system licence rates (Lizenzentgelte)** — The former affiliate-derived rates were withdrawn. Provider-direct evidence is required before prices or an estimator can return. - **31 October 2027** — the last day a producer-responsibility organisation for B2B packaging may operate without ZSVR approval under § 22. Published by ZSVR and, as far as we can find, by nobody else. - **1 January 2028** — from this date a producer of non-system-participation packaging needs § 19 approval from ZSVR. Applications open in the course of 2027. - **The four providers with no published price** — the moment any of them publishes one, it appears here. ## Limitations What this table cannot tell you, stated plainly. - We are not a neutral party. EPR Germany Rep is the first row of this table. That is exactly why every competing row carries a link to the provider's own page: check the numbers at their origin, not with us. - A published price is not a quote. Several providers price per country, per tonne or per stream. Your actual invoice depends on what you sell and how much of it. - This table is packaging only. Electricals (ElektroG) and batteries (BattG) are separate German regimes with their own registers, duties and costs, and are not compared here. - It is a snapshot. Check each observation’s date and scope in the verification log. Retrieval failures and unresolved charges are not confirmations. - Nothing here is legal advice. It is published data with its sources attached. ## Changelog - **4 Nov 2026** — every price re-checked at the provider's own page. maincompliance.de now quotes on request. Nine other providers, six published prices. - **22 Sep 2026** — recount: providers the first census missed were added, including maincompliance.de and ecocomply.ai. The earlier figure on this site was nine providers and five prices. - **21 Sep 2026** — dataset first published: nine providers, five published prices, the what's-included comparison, and the § 5 text in full. Price evidence and review dates are recorded separately in the verification log. ## How to cite this page Free to use and cite under CC BY 4.0.
